Team’s work and services:

Al Amal health volunteer team consists of 68 volunteers of various experiences, skills and competencies including doctors, nurses, lab technicians, psychologists, university students, and some of society members who contribute in charity works.

The team conducts many activities and campaigns targeting patients and their families and provide them with services at any time they need.

1. Some patients, in order to continue their treatment in the Turkish hospitals, they entered Turkey alone. Therefore, one of the first tasks of the team was to assign male or female volunteers to be with them.
2. Conduct health awareness campaigns about the importance of prevention of diseases and their causes by the supervision of a volunteer medical staff.
3. Volunteer doctors and nurses supervise and follow-up the patients in and outside the centers of the association, periodically and as needed.
4. Al Amal team contributes in psychological support through conducting various recreational and educational activities for patients and their families.
5. Visit patients in hospitals and care about their needs.
6. Carry out recreational activities for cancer children and give them gifts.

4. Capacity building through implementing training workshops for volunteers.

Every year people celebrate Eids in their own way, with their friends and relatives. But Al Amal team, as every year, have their own method to celebrate. They begin their Eid only with cancer patients, including men, women and children. They are very pleased when they see the smile on the faces of those who are tired by the disease.  This year the team's slogan was:
