Project Idea:
In the beginning of the Syrian events at the late of 2012, Al Amal Association has established
branches in Turkey and started to authorize them legally and officially. In the beginning of 2013
it has opened its first center in Gaziantep which is the first and only center that receive the
Syrian patients fleeing the pain, suffering and war. The center provides them with health care,
accommodation and all decent living conditions. And this center has become the starting point
for several centers in some of Turkish cities. Where Istanbul center has been established in 2015
Adana in 2016 and Antakya at the beginning of 2017, which become one of the most important
centers for cancer patients.
This project is considered a major step for continuing treatment and alleviating the suffering for
patients and their families.
Project Services:
When the patient is referred to Turkey, our existing staff in the Turkish hospitals receive him
and bring him to our centers after his treatment plan has been decided. He will live in our
centers during the period of treatment and rest. We will provide him with all the necessary
basics of life and contribute in alleviating the burden and pain and providing all health and social
services.
 Through the following:
1. Receive the patient and his companion and document the complete information in a special
file.
2. Provide him with furnished private rooms with all living necessities.
3. Provide him with primary health care and medical monitoring before and after treatment at
each center.

4. Provide him with psychological support sessions supervised by specialists.
5. Conduct recreational trips for patients and their companions.
